Technical - Standing Rigging
Allspars kindly offered to replace Padiwaks standing rigging, this eliminates all of the extra shackles and links which had been put in over the years and could have been a possible weakness. The mast is in good condition so that we decided it didn't need replacing just like the boom and the furling spar. I have found a roller furling genoa to be invaluable when sailing singlehanded as it is quick and easy to change the amount of sail without leaving the cockpit.
