When purchased Padiwak didn't have any permanent electrics. Now she has two 75Ah batteries along with 2 Sunslick flexible solar panels which can be put out in the right conditions. To also maintain battery power Padiwak has a shorepower system so when plugged in the batteries can have a full charge.
Icom have donated one of their fixed VHF and also a handheld unit. I have been lent a Raymarine C80 chartplotter which is a great piece of kit although it took a bit of getting used to. The chartplotter is connected to the autopilot and AIS system which all work together, for more information on the AIS please look on the AIS Page.
