Sponsorship
To complete the trip I will need donations to purchase equipment for
the boat and safety equipment for myself. What I aim to do is
sponsorship from companies will be used for the boat and then donations
from people will be given to charity.
I have approached many companies asking about sponsorship and have secured various sponsorships. These are all mainly equipment based sponsors.
I have purchased the boat so anything which is given will be used directly on the trip and to adapt the boat. I will also need to take into account the cost of fuel and will contact fuel companies to see if they can do anything.
In return for sponsorship I can offer advertising on the boat in the form of vinyl stickers, on the website, where companies can have logos and links to their website and on information leaflets.
